The lease says I have to be 20 feet away, but the grill is really small, only 18 inches high and its not windy. You think I’d burn down the building?

No, but your apartment may burn down.
They do that so that crazy people don’t throw it over the balcony.

No, but in this case don’t take chances. If the lease says 20 feet and your 19.9 feet away they can still hold you responsible if anything happens.

someone will report you.And if you like living there, then you better do as the lease says.But for me, I would do it, cause I’m a little crazy or **** restrictions.I probably would do it inside the apt. With a fan blowing out the smoke.
